  • The Emotion Seekers board game is for ages 4+, and the children's books are for all ages, but best for ages 3+. However, families tell us that older siblings and younger siblings love joining in. The stories and game prompts are flexible enough to grow with your child!

  • Absolutely. Teachers, counselors, and child-development specialists have used the game and books to support social-emotional learning (SEL) and group discussions.

If you'd like to use the Emotion Seekers game for a larger group (like a 20+ student circle time), we recommend using just the Emmers Cards that come with the game, and having students take turns drawing a card and answering the prompt. It's a blast and a great way to start the morning!

  • Emotion Seekers Game: 1 board, 65 Emmers Cards, 18 Emotion Tokens, 4 player pawns, and easy-to-follow instructions.

Big-Hearted Resilience 3-Book Set: Three hardcover picture books - The Teetering Tower, The Day the Cake Went Splat, and The Wobbly Words - all featuring monster friends Emmers, Zy, Nola, and Squid.

Ultimate Emmers Bundle: Everything above! The game + all three books - for the full Emmers experience!

  • Yes! Each storybook is a hardcover, premium-quality picture book (8.75” x 8.75”) printed with safe, child-friendly inks and durable pages built to last through many storytimes.

  • Definitely! The Emmers products make wonderful gifts for birthdays, holidays, classrooms, or new families. Each is designed to spark laughter and connection - and to look stunning on your shelf or coffee table - ready to delight parents and kids alike. Plus, who doesn't love a gift that is fun, gorgeous, AND teaches valuable skills?

  • The game works beautifully for 2–4 players. It’s perfect for family game night, classrooms, therapy sessions, or small-group play. It's great for one-on-one time with your child, and can even be adapted for larger groups (like circle time in school!).

A typical round lasts about 15–30 minutes, but it’s easy to shorten or extend depending on your child’s attention span or schedule. The goal isn’t always finishing the game, but about connecting.
